The Sixties

Wendell Stephenson '62 retired at age 77 after spending 50 years selling industrial casters.

Terry Hansen '66 is the workforce development director at Hickey Global in Alexandria, Virginia.

James Conroyd Martin '69 completed a historical fiction duology in July on Byzantine Empress Theodora. His first novel, Fortunes Child, was named Best Book of 2019 by Chanticleer International Book Awards. The duology came to completion with Too Soon the Night.

The Seventies

Thomas Leeds Jr. '72 is enjoying retirement from Case IH after 42 years of employment.

The California Community College Men's Basketball Coaches Association inducted Dennis "Denny" Aye '73 into the CCCMBCA Hall Of Fame. For 23 of his 40 years as a basketball coach, Denny coached in the ranks of the California community colleges.

Roger Helling '79 retired as an engineer for the Dallas Cumulus radio group. He continues to do engineering work for KTCU-FM and the Bob Schieffer College of Communication at Texas Christian University in Fort Worth, Texas.

The Eighties

Charlie Minnick '84 is a member of the board at Clinton/Jackson County Early Childhood Iowa under the Iowa's Department of Education.

Penny (O'Brien) Farringer '85 retired from Ashton Franklin Center Elementary School in Franklin Grove, Illinois.  

The Nineties

Brent Kilburg '92 was elected sheriff of Jackson County, Iowa.

Jen (Moser) Furness '94 is the president and CEO of Genesis Coaching & Consulting Group in Davenport. Jen is a certified orthotic fitter and earned an ABC Business Certification for Crossroads Orthotics.

Jeanie (Moser) Fountain '94 is a John Maxwell certified speaker, trainer, coach at Genesis Coaching & Consulting in Eldridge, Iowa. Jeanie worked 22 years as an occupational therapist and nine years as a professional network marketer (YOLI).

Trish (Wienola) Loftis '94 is the creative director at Asurion, a multi-national insurance company in Nashville, Tennessee.

Tricia (Bedell) Meyer '98 was recognized by Forbes on its Next 1000 List. The list celebrates the most inspiring entrepreneurs today. Meyer is the founder and managing attorney of Meyer Law, a Law Firm with locations in Chicago, Los Angeles, Denver, and Traverse City.

Linda Barnes '99 is the director of finance for the City of Rock Island, Illinois.

The Zeroes

Eric Anderson '00 was promoted to the interim director of the Career Center for the University of Idaho.

Gina (Ryan) Schlicksup '02 published her first book, Exceptionally Unordinary: A Mom's Mission to Turn Her Unordinary Life Into Her Mission, a non-fiction work.

Katie Spain '02 is an account executive at Locknet Managed IT.

Leeanna (Smith) Ellis '04 is the public relations strategist and content writer for the College of Saint Mary in Omaha, Nebraska.

Roberta (Bushek) Goodin '04 retired from Army Contracting Command at the Rock Island Arsenal after 35 years of federal service with both the Department of Defense and the Department of Army.

Lindsay (Crane) Vargas '04 is a clinical nurse coordinator at the University of Iowa Hospital and Clinics.

Rev. Catt Foy '06 is a published author of the following titles: A Scrivener's Tale, Psycards: An Oracle of Archetypes, Rune Stones and Their Interpretations, Psycards Archetypes Coloring Book, and Psycards Archetypes Coloring Book with Color Illustrations.

Jesse Virgil '06 is the manager of employee success presentation design and communications at Salesforce.

Chad Driscoll '08 was appointed to serve on the City of Bondurant City Council in Bondurant, Iowa.

Nicole (Frotscher) Kirchoff '08 is the region manager at Premier Inc. in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Kari (Petersmith) Sewell '08 is the director of hospital revenue cycle at SSM Health in Creve Coeur, Missouri.

Malcolm Parker '11 is the senior transfer counselor at North Park University in Chicago.

Joe Norris '12 is the director of mission services at OSF Healthcare in Peoria, Illinois.

Ashley (Jamison-Love) Kerber '14 is a business system analyst at Starbucks Coffee Company in Seattle.

Floyd Shumaker '14 is a chemist for the Department of Defense in Oklahoma City.

Emilee (Renwick) Caba '14 is the digital content specialist for Augustana College in Rock Island, Illinois.

Shelby (Shepherd) Leabo '15 is the multimedia specialist at St. Ambrose University in Davenport.

Claire Swift '16 is the senior business development manager at the HON Company in Cleveland and Columbus, Ohio.

Michelle Voelkers '16, '20 MOL is the police department business analyst for the Davenport Police Department.

Eryk Hollembaek '16, '19 MBA is the owner and operator of H & B Real Estate in Davenport.

Dylan Mitchell '17 is a teacher at Davenport West High in Davenport.

Dustin Nolan '17 earned the Sports Story of the Year in the Silver Dome Awards by the Illinois Broadcasters Association. Dustin is a sports reporter at WHBF-TV in Rock Island, Illinois.

Melanie Feilen '17, '20 OTD is an occupational therapist at Cook Children's Medical Center in Fort Worth, Texas.

Chloe Czolgosz '18 is a licensed mental health counselor associate for Blackbird Psychological Services in Muncie, Indiana.

Carol Mattox '18 MBA is an adjunct professor at Orion Technical Institute in Davenport.

Ashlynn Maczko '18 is a librarian at Great Falls College Montana State University in Great Falls, Montana.

Diamond Merboth '18 is a youth job developer at BEST Inc. in Dixon, Illinois.

Adrianna Blanco '19 is a case manager at Safer Foundation in Davenport.

Whitney Misfeldt '19 is a financial representative at Modern Woodmen of America.

Jordan Rowe '19, '20 MSEP is the exercise physiologist at Woodlands Medical Center in Denton, Texas.

Mackenzie Taylor '19 is the director of marketing and communications at the Peoria Symphony Orchestra in Peoria, Illinois.

Emily Tyler '19 is a residential case manager for Family Resources in Davenport.

Josh Voelkers '20, '21 MSCJ is working in Armed Security at Exelon Nuclear in Cordova, Illinois.

St. Ambrose University's Wine Festival surpassed the $2 million threshold in cumulative giving through its 2024 event. This annual three-part series, which began in 2001, raises money to support scholarships for students at St. Ambrose.
