As universities across the country face challenging shifts in higher education, St. Ambrose University will remain at the forefront of innovation with the appointment of Toby Arquette, PhD, as the university's first Vice President for Strategic Growth, Marketing, and Digital Transformation.

Arquette previously served as the university's first Vice President for Communications and Marketing, where he spearheaded a rebranding and digital marketing initiative to strengthen external communications and enrollment campaigns.

As universities across the country face challenging shifts in higher education, St. Ambrose University will remain at the forefront of innovation with the appointment of Toby Arquette, PhD, as the university's first Vice President for Strategic Growth, Marketing, and Digital Transformation.

Citing Arquette's visionary leadership and track record in his previous role, President Amy Novak, EdD, outlined the ways his new position will strengthen St. Ambrose University's standing in the higher education marketplace:

"With an impressive background in enrollment, marketing, and the emerging digital landscape, Dr. Arquette brings significant knowledge and expertise to this critical role. In his new role, Dr. Arquette will spearhead the university's efforts to drive strategic growth, strengthen the university's brand and marketing initiatives, and lead digital transformation in an ever-evolving higher education landscape."

Prior to his arrival at St. Ambrose University in July 2022, Arquette served as the dean of the College of Liberal Arts and Business at Aurora University (Aurora, IL). Among many other responsibilities in the role of dean, Arquette managed the school's marketing and communications efforts, leveraging digital opportunities to exceed revenue and enrollment targets each year.

"I am confident that under Dr. Arquette's leadership, the university is poised to elevate its position as an innovation leader," Novak added. "As the university navigates the challenges and opportunities in the higher education sector, Dr. Arquette's strategic insights and deep understanding of marketing and digital trends will be invaluable in propelling St. Ambrose forward."
