Dr Hughes has a broad background in clinical practice and currently serves as the Doctoral Capstone Coordinator and teaches Foundations, Theory, and Critical Inquiry courses in the OTD curriculum. Community service settings include hospice and equine therapeutic riding programs.

Dr. Hughes has licensure in Iowa and Illinois as well as certificates in:
