Before becoming an academic, Dr. Moreau was a futures traders and then a full-time consultant on financial matters to companies.
Since joining academic world in 1986, Dr. Moreau has held full-time appointments at McGill University in Canada and University of New South Wales before joining St. Ambrose in 2000. He has continued to consult with banks and regulators on the identification and management of risk, as well as managing a Family Office hedge fund.
Dr. Moreau's areas of expertise lie in arbitrage, hedging and risk management, international finance and complete markets. Dr. Moreau's work has appeared in publications such as Journal of Finance, Journal of Banking and Finance, and Journal of Financial and Quantitative Analysis.
