Dr. Charles and Joyce DCamp Scholarship details
The Dr. Charles and Joyce DCamp Scholarship is given to returning music majors, with a preference for band students who also play piano. Contact the music department faculty to confirm your eligibility.
Student eligibility and selection criteria:
- Enrollment in SAU’s Bachelor of Arts in Music or Music Education programs
- Returning student (second year and above)
- Preference given to band students who also play piano
- Progress/excellence in musicianship as demonstrated by student transcript(s)
- Seriousness of purpose as shown by a student’s positive and respectful attitude toward music, their studies, themselves, and others.
One student is selected each year to receive the Dr. Charles and Joyce DCamp Scholarship. Music department faculty select a recipient prior to the start of each academic year. All music majors will be considered for this award. Application for this award is not required.
The Dr. Charles and Joyce DCamp Scholarship is disbursed following a straightforward process:
- The Music Department shares the recipient name with Financial Services.
- Disbursement occurs at the beginning of each year.
- Funds are directly credited to your account and applied toward tuition.
