Multicultural House

You are welcome here!

Mission

The mission of the Multicultural House is to serve as a campus-wide resource that facilitates and promotes a learning community of multicultural understanding and exchange through collaboration, dialogue, and action.

Vision

The St. Ambrose University Multicultural House will be designed to be the space where students, staff and faculty members purposefully take part in dialogue, which it will affirm the rich histories of marginalized communities of color, diverse ethnic backgrounds, religions, gender, and sexual orientation.

About the House

The Multicultural House opened in the Fall of 2015 following renovations of the first floor of the home. The first floor of the Multicultural House is a multi-purpose open space area/room for group meetings, performances, movie nights, presentations, open dialogue, and more.

On the second floor, which was renovated the summer of 2016, is home to the SAU Project SEARCH program.

Outside of the house presents endless opportunities with a lawn for small gatherings, outdoor activities such as playing games and grilling, and much more.
