Two St. Ambrose alumni named 2026 Great Iowa Nurses

Students of St. Ambrose University's nursing program gather around a hospital bed with folders and notebooks.

St. Ambrose University is excited to announce the following nursing alumni were named to the 2026 Great Iowa Nurses list:

  • Lindsey Clifford ’10, University of Iowa Health Care
  • Brittney Rogers ’18, University of Iowa Health Care

To be considered, a nominee must hold a valid and current Iowa nursing license and be recognized for going above and beyond typical job responsibilities. Over 100 nurses are then selected across the state for displaying exemplary leadership, taking on mentorship roles, and embodying excellence in their field.

For 75 years, St. Ambrose has proudly educated the next generation of holistic, patient-centered nursing leaders. With in-person and online pathways to a BSN degree, we’re committed to making a nursing education accessible and supporting a pipeline of graduates to rural areas.
