L. Joseph Hebert, Ph.D. is a professor of Political Science in the College of Arts and Sciences. Hebert is the author of "Conscientious Citizenship in a Constitutional Republic," (2023). Dr. Hebert joined St. Ambrose University in 2005. In addition to teaching, he has enjoyed working with students in activities such as Mock Trial, and SAU's Undergraduate Summer Research Institute. He lives in Davenport with his family and can sometimes be seen on the Duck Creek Bike Trail.
