Johny Augustine, MSW, M.Phil, PhD

Dr. Augustine's research aims to improve social work services for individuals, families, and communities affected by a disaster. His recent research includes a study that investigated the increasing role of personal resources, family strengths, and social capital in promoting post-traumatic growth of survivors of a major disaster.

Dr. Augustine has worked in a variety of clinical settings with the mentally ill, including inpatient facilities, outpatient clinics, and community mental health centers.
