Amanda Bohnert, MS

Amanda Bohnert MS, MAT is a professor of Biology in the College of Arts and Sciences. With a Master of Biology from University of Kentucky, Bohnert has research interests in exploring new teaching pedagogies. Bohnert teaches introductory Biology courses as well as electives such as forensics.

Her master's-level work included DNA techniques, comparative anatomy, and genetics as well as sexual selection and adaptations in freshwater systems. Bohnert has a broad background in several areas including biology, genetics, animal behavior, anatomy, ecology, and environmental science.
